WEB EASY INSTRUCTION - FLASH EFFECTS
Flash elements are the ultimate in motion effects for your website, but should be used with care. Although some web designers
produce 100% Flash websites, some of which are very appealing to the senses, these sites are almost impossible for search engine spiders
and robots to index. Bottom line is that websites composed entirely or even primarily with Flash are seldom, if ever ranked
highly on search results.
That said, we highly recommend the use of Flash for many memory intensive special effect elements.
Examples are slideshows, dynamic banners, navigation menus, etc. The key is to limit their use to items that have little bearing
on search engine optimization. The banner at the top of this page is done in flash, as is the left side navigation bar.
